Professional Practitioner Course (10 modules) (DHP)
The Professional Practitioner Hypnotherapy Training Course is a fully professional training and complies with, or surpasses, the National Core Curriculum for Hypnotherapy training schools, on which the National Occupation Standards for Hypnotherapy is based. The course was devised and written by the principal of the Essex Institute UK, Terence Watts, and is based on many thousands of hours of successful work with hypnosis, hypnotherapy and hypno-analysis.
Upon completion of this training you will be eligible for registration with A.P.H.P and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
The classes for this course are held 2 days a month (usually a weekend) for ten months and may be paid for as you attend each one so that there is no need for a large outlay at the beginning.
Not only that, but you will be able to start earning an income from providing hypnotherapy after you have completed the initial certification process at the end of your first 5 months study - the certification from the Milton Keynes School of Clinical Hypnosis will allow you to get professional liability insurance at that time.
Some courses that claim to be 'complete' provide only half this amount of training, often at the expense of enough supervised practice. At MKSCH, we ensure that your knowledge is complete enough for you to become a true professional hypnotherapist.
The course consists of 10 x weekend classes that will provide you with all the skills you need to work as a professional hypnotherapist, helping people to stop smoking, manage weight, cope with stress, anxiety and phobias... and a whole lot more. The first five modules are identical to the Certification Course (see here for Certification Course Information). In addition to the Certification Course you will attend 5 added additional training weekends/2 days to learn more in-depth techniques, psychoanalytical skills and wider understanding and in-depth practical training enabling you to tackle even the most complex of issues.
The classes include a great deal of practice which is supervised by professional therapists so that by the time you qualify, getting people safely in and out of hypnosis is completely natural to you. There are assignments associated with each class as well, that will help you to absorb the theory and understanding of the use of hypnosis and hypnotherapy at deep enough level that you will feel as if you have 'owned' this knowledge for many years.
Our training is complete enough to get you to a high level of expertise, yet it is far from 'as dry as dust' - read some samples of our training materials to see for yourself! Students report that their studies at the MKMSCH have been both entertaining and enlightening, as well as giving them a degree of insight to 'the human condition' that astonishes them.
We also have a fully flexible fee structure - if you need to end your studies for any reason at all, you need only let us know 28 days in advance. We will refund the cost of any outstanding lessons for which you have already paid and if you're paying on a 'per lesson' basis you will be under no further financial obligation. Most schools do not offer this assurance!
It's also worth noting that our unique fee structure means that if at any point you decide the course is not for you, you can leave at any time without obligation.
